Istanbul’s Yarısı Bizden support extended to end of 2027
The Ministry announced an extension of Yarısı Bizden support until 31 December 2027 and outlined financing for housing, business premises and area-based redevelopment.

Türkiye’s Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change announced that Yarısı Bizden support for redeveloping risky buildings in Istanbul has been extended until 31 December 2027. According to its announcement dated 20 October 2026, the extension was made through a Presidential Decision published in the Official Gazette. The announced change concerns the support period
The Ministry’s statement concerns the duration of support introduced on 22 February 2024 to accelerate urban redevelopment in Istanbul. It presents the new end date as the outcome of a published decision, not a proposal or a measure under consideration. The article also lists support amounts, but does not say these were increased by the extension decision. The new development is therefore the continuation of the programme until the end of 2027. He urged residents to reach agreement and have their buildings assessed as risky structures. The Ministry included this appeal alongside its announcement of the extended support period. For building-based redevelopment projects, each dwelling receives a TRY 875,000 grant, a TRY 875,000 loan and TRY 125,000 in moving support. The Ministry describes these three components as total financing of TRY 1,875,000 per dwelling. The total is therefore not entirely a grant: it also includes borrowing and moving assistance. According to the announcement, residents using this model can have their homes rebuilt by contractors. [Source](https://csb.gov.tr/haberler/yarisi-bizden-karari-resmi-gazete-de-yayimlandi-307046)

Under the same conditions, one shop or business premises belonging to an eligible owner receives a TRY 437,500 grant, a TRY 437,500 loan and TRY 125,000 in moving support. A TRY 875,000 loan is available for each additional shop belonging to that owner. The announcement distinguishes the grant, loan and moving-support package for the first business premises from the loan support specified for additional shops. For larger, area-based redevelopment projects such as residential complexes, TOKİ or Emlak Konut undertakes construction. This model provides each eligible owner with a TRY 875,000 grant and TRY 125,000 in moving support. The grant is deducted from the building cost, while the remaining debt is repaid in instalments under long-term, favourable payment conditions. Although the Ministry describes this repayment approach, it gives no specific repayment term or interest rate. The financing description for this model should therefore remain limited to the components stated in the announcement.
