Project Introduction File (PTD)
Project Introduction File preparation for Annex-2 projects: baseline data, impact screening and follow-up until the 'EIA Not Required' decision is issued.
Projects listed in Annex-2 of the EIA Regulation are screened through a Project Introduction File (PTD). We prepare the file, coordinate with the provincial directorate and obtain the 'EIA Not Required' decision.
Scope
Annex-2 covers medium-scale industrial, agricultural, energy, tourism and infrastructure projects below the Annex-1 thresholds.
File content
Project and site description, production process, raw material and energy use, emissions and waste streams, and the proposed mitigation measures.
Screening outcome
The provincial directorate either issues an 'EIA Not Required' decision or refers the project to a full EIA.
Our role
We collect field data, prepare the file to the official format, respond to review comments and follow up until the decision letter.
How we work
- 1Gap analysis: current status, legal obligations and data maturity are assessed.
- 2Work plan: scope, boundaries, responsibilities and timetable are agreed.
- 3Implementation: procedures, calculations and evidence files are produced.
- 4Internal review: data quality checks and management review are completed.
- 5Audit / submission: the accredited body audit or official application is managed.
- 6Continuous improvement: annual surveillance, updates and target tracking.
