Türkiye’s Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority (KGK) has published a notice for applicants to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Specialist Examination scheduled for 12 December 2026. Dated 5 November 2026 and numbered 2026-46, the announcement addresses applicants missing from published lists, the status of venue and time information, and a warning about licensing requirements. Which applicants should submit a petition?

The written-petition requirement concerns applicants meeting three conditions: they applied within the application period, paid the examination fee online by credit card during their application, and do not appear on the published lists. KGK says these applicants must submit a written petition to the authority. This part of the announcement therefore concerns people who completed the specified application and payment steps but are missing from the lists, rather than people seeking to apply for the first time. The deadline is 13 November 2026

The deadline for the affected applicants to submit their written petitions is 13 November 2026. KGK explicitly states that submissions made after that date will not be accepted. This is the deadline for applicants meeting the notice’s conditions to contact the authority through a petition, not the date of the examination, which is scheduled for 12 December. Alongside the written-petition requirement, the notice provides a separate email address for requests for detailed information. Source: KGK

Venues and examination time will follow

KGK says the locations where candidates will take the examination and its time will be announced later. The 5 November notice therefore does not provide a confirmed venue or examination time. It includes a link to the candidate list and directs requests for detailed information to egitimyetkilendirme@kgk.gov.tr. That email address is presented as an information channel; the action specified for qualifying applicants missing from the lists is separately described as submitting a written petition. Source: KGK

Passing the examination is not sufficient for a licence

The announcement also warns that passing the examination alone is insufficient to qualify for a KSRU licence. Candidates must additionally meet the other conditions in Article 5 of the Procedures and Principles on Corporate Sustainability Reporting Specialisation. The notice does not enumerate those conditions, instead referring readers to the relevant article. It thus addresses examination-related candidate procedures separately from the conditions that must be satisfied to qualify for the licence. Source: KGK
