Ankara carbon pricing meeting reviews ETS pilot period and offsetting preparations

The National Carbon Pricing Specialized Working Group held its seventh meeting in Ankara, according to a Climate Change Presidency announcement dated 29 September 2026. National and international developments
During the morning joint session, Eyüp Kaan Moralı, head of the Presidency’s Carbon Pricing Department, presented current developments in national carbon pricing. GIZ Türkiye provided information on the Carbon Pricing Adaptation Project and international developments. The joint session therefore covered both work under way in Türkiye and the international carbon pricing agenda.
