Six implementation targets for 2035

The objectives outlined by Kurum include increasing electricity’s share of global final energy consumption to 35%, halving the growth rate of global waste generation and reducing energy-use intensity in buildings by at least 25%. Another target is to raise circular material use in production and manufacturing to at least 15%. The remaining objectives concern increasing awareness in agriculture and climate education, and expanding the Climate Implementation Bridge. The ministry presents these as the presidency’s global implementation targets, not newly enacted rules or obligations for companies.
